Hover translation
Translating the paragraph under your pointer is off until you turn it on in Page Translation → Hover translation. You then choose its trigger: holding Ctrl, Alt, Shift or `, a long press of the mouse, or a key combination of your own, Alt + Q to begin with.
Change a shortcut
Open Shortcuts in the settings, click a shortcut and press the keys you want. Each one can also be turned off. Duet Translate warns you if two actions share the same keys.
Your own AI actions have no shortcut until you set one here.
If a shortcut does nothing
- Some pages capture keys for themselves, such as online editors and games. Use the popup or the selection toolbar there.
- Check that the keys aren’t used by your browser or another extension. Chrome lists extension shortcuts at
chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
