Account and plans
Sign in with Google, see what each plan includes, and manage your subscription.
You don’t need an account to translate with your own API key or with Google and Microsoft’s free translation. An account gives you the built-in AI, which needs no setup.
Sign in
Open the popup and click Log in, or go to duettranslate.com/log-in and continue with Google. The extension and the website share the same sign-in, so signing in on one signs you in on the other.

The built-in AI allowance
Only translation and AI actions that run on the built-in AI count toward the allowance. It’s measured in the text sent and received, so a long article uses more than a short post, and the advanced model uses it up faster than the standard one.
- The free allowance resets every day at 00:00 UTC.
- Pro and Max allowances reset every Monday at 00:00 UTC.
- Unused allowance doesn’t carry over.
Your account page and the extension’s API Providers page show how much is left. When it runs out, switch a feature to another provider on that page, or wait for the reset.
Upgrade
Choose Pro or Max on the Pricing page and pay with Stripe. Your plan turns on within a minute; reload the extension’s settings if it still shows the old plan.
Manage your subscription
On your account page, choose Manage subscription to open Stripe’s secure page, where you can:
- switch between Pro and Max, or between monthly and yearly billing,
- change your card and download invoices,
- cancel. Your plan stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
