Translation APIs
DeepL, DeepLX and the free Google and Microsoft translation, for fast translation without an AI model.
These services translate text and nothing else. They’re fast, often free or cheap, and need little setup. They can’t follow prompts or glossaries, and they can’t run custom AI actions, AI smart context or subtitle segmentation.

When to use them
- For whole pages when you want speed and no cost, with an AI model kept for selections and AI actions.
- When you don’t want to set up an AI service at all.
